Job summary

Home Instead Eastbourne and Hailsham seeks a Registered Care Manager to lead our team and ensure high-quality, person-centred care. You will manage daily operations of domiciliary care services, ensure regulatory compliance and maintain our outstanding rating.

You will mentor staff and drive growth opportunities for the team. Minimum 3 years in a managerial domiciliary care role, with NVQ Level 5 leadership, driving licences, and strong communication and leadership skills expected.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years' experience in a managerial role within domiciliary care registered with the CQC.
• NVQ Level 5 in Leadership and Management in Health and Social Care or equivalent qualifications.
• Strong knowledge of CQC regulations and relevant legislation.
• Excellent communication, leadership and organisational skills.
• Full UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Drive the overall growth of the business.
• Oversee the delivery of high-quality, person-centred care to all clients.
• Ensure compliance with CQC regulations and other relevant legislation.
• Develop and implement care plans that meet individual client needs.
• Recruit, train and manage care staff, fostering a positive team environment.
• Conduct regular staff supervisions and appraisals to maintain high performance.
• Liaise with clients, families and healthcare professionals to ensure effective communication and continuity of care.
• Monitor and manage budgets, ensuring financial efficiency without compromising quality.
• Lead by example, promoting a culture of excellence, respect and compassion.
• Handle complaints or incidents promptly and effectively.
• Continuously assess and improve service delivery, implementing best practices.
• Embrace expanding into new services to meet changing client needs.
