Job summary

GXO Logistics, Inc in Bridgwater is seeking a Care & Maintenance Technician to keep critical equipment in peak condition at a major UK infrastructure project. The role is on-site, Monday to Friday, 07:00–15:00, with a salary between £46,500 and £48,500 per annum.

You will perform scheduled maintenance, supervise contractor visits, and ensure safety and ONR compliance. A full UK driving licence is required, and a pension and benefits package is provided.

Qualifications

• Proven maintenance or engineering experience in a regulated environment.
• Strong understanding of maintenance practices and compliance requirements.
• Experience developing or supporting care and maintenance activities.
• Proficient IT skills and keeping accurate technical records.
• Full UK driving licence is essential for travel between sites.

Responsibilities

• Carry out scheduled care and maintenance activities across plant and equipment.
• Host and support contractor visits, inspections and maintenance.
• Maintain maintenance records, procedures and schedules for ONR compliance.
• Identify, report and resolve defects and opportunities for improvement.
• Support asset reviews and champion continuous improvement in operations.
