Job summary

GXO Logistics in Brockworth is seeking a Health & Safety Advisor to champion safety standards and support teams in a complex, highly regulated environment.

This full-time role, based on a Monday to Friday 8am–4pm schedule, offers up to £40,000 depending on experience, 25 days' annual leave plus bank holidays, and a company pension. Join us in underpinning safety-first culture on one of Britain's most significant engineering projects.

Qualifications

• NEBOSH General Certificate or NVQ Level 3 in Health & Safety with ongoing CPD.
• Strong knowledge of health and safety legislation and a safety-first culture.
• Experience in construction, infrastructure or defence environments is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Develop, lead and maintain Management Plans, Risk Assessments and Safe Systems of Work (SSOW).
• Deliver and record safety training; identify gaps and escalate as needed.
• Input, analyse and report Health, Safety and Environment data into GXO and Client systems.
• Chair and present at HSE meetings; track actions and escalate where required.
• Manage contractors end-to-end from permit checks to inductions and exit requirements.
