Job summary

GXO Logistics, Inc. is seeking a Facilities Service Engineer for our Milton Keynes sites supporting Waitrose. The role focuses on planned mechanical preventive maintenance, reactive repairs, racking inspections, and CMMS-driven operations to ensure smooth performance.

The position is full-time, on a rotating 05:30–13:30 and 13:30–21:30 shift pattern. The candidate should have an apprenticeship in mechanical maintenance, with 18th edition wiring desirable (assistance offered to obtain it within

Qualifications

• Apprenticeship or equivalent mechanical maintenance background preferred.
• 18th edition wiring desirable; company will support in six months.
• Experience with mechanical maintenance tasks and equipment upkeep.

Responsibilities

• Carry out mechanical preventative maintenance on cages and racking.
• Use CMMS to support operations and maintenance planning.
• Monitor and maintain plant and equipment; cover other Waitrose sites as needed.
• Identify improvements to enhance service to the customer.
