Job summary

Thriving Not Just Surviving is seeking a Project Worker in Manchester to deliver a three-year programme aimed at reducing health inequalities for care leavers. The role involves facilitating forums, providing one-to-one support, research tasks, and engaging with NHS commissioners and policymakers.

You will work within a team led by the National Director, shaping the project with lived experience leadership and trauma-informed practice, across six interconnected activities and via regional health

Qualifications

• Experience of working in a support/service delivery setting with disadvantaged young people or adults.
• Personal experience of being in care as a child.
• Awareness of the needs of care leavers and how these needs might change into adulthood; multi-agency/partnership working.
