Carer Support Wiltshire is hiring a Project Worker in Manchester on a hybrid basis (minimum 2 days in office). You will deliver a three-year programme to reduce health inequalities for care leavers, build trusted relationships, gather evidence, and co-produce resources with health professionals and policymakers.

You will work as part of a team led by the National Director, shaping the project with lived experience and trauma-informed practice at the centre of delivery.

Competenze

• Experience in a support/service delivery setting with disadvantaged young people or adults.
• Personal experience of being in care as a child.
• Awareness of the needs of care leavers and multi-agency/partnership working.

Mansioni

• Deliver a three-year programme to reduce health inequalities faced by care leavers across England.
• Facilitate forums, provide one-to-one support, and undertake research activities.
• Engage with NHS commissioners and policymakers, and help co-produce practical resources.
• Line manage by the National Director and work with colleagues committed to lived experience leadership and trauma-informed practice.
• Contribute to policy development and leadership within the project.
