Job summary

NFP People advertising on behalf of a client seeks a Project Worker in Manchester with lived experience of care. The role is hybrid, requiring a minimum of 2 days per week in the office, to deliver a three-year programme reducing health inequalities for care leavers across England.

You will build trusted relationships, gather evidence, co-produce resources, and help shift how health services respond to care experience. Experience in support roles with disadvantaged groups is essential.

Qualifications

• You will have experience of working in a support/service delivery setting with disadvantaged young people or adults.
• Attention to trauma-informed practice and lived experience leadership is valued.
• Ability to work across multidisciplinary teams and with health professionals.

Responsibilities

• Deliver a three-year programme to reduce health inequalities for care leavers across England.
• Facilitate forums and provide one-to-one support.
• Engage with NHS commissioners and policymakers to influence services.
