Hill Care is seeking a kitchen staff member to organise and control the production of quality meals within budget, while upholding high cleanliness and hygiene standards in line with EHO regulations.

Role involves preparing meals, accommodating dietary needs, costed menu planning with the Home Manager, staff rota creation, and basic hygiene training for care staff. Opportunities for progression and ongoing training are highlighted.

Competenze

• City & Guilds 706-1 & 2 or equivalent (achieved or working towards).
• Basic Food / Hygiene Certificate.
• Good communication skills.
• Team player.
• Ability to work on own initiative.
• Satisfactory Police Check and POVA List check where applicable.
• Intermediate Food / Hygiene Certificate (desired).
• Previous supervisory experience (desired).
• Experience of Food Preparation for the relevant Client group (desired).

Mansioni

• Prepare, cook and serve hot and cold meals as required.
• Provide for special dietary requirements and client preferences.
• Liaise with Home Manager when planning/costing menus to ensure balanced nutrition.
• Arrange and participate in staff and client meetings as required.
• Maintain records of food supplies and temperatures; ensure stock rotation.
• Prepare staff rota for Kitchen and assist with recruitment.
