Job summary

Willing Care Recruitment Limited seeks an experienced Care Home Manager for a small specialist home for adults with learning disabilities and complex needs. You will lead from day one, shaping culture and ensuring high standards of care, safeguarding, and compliance across the service.

You will oversee daily operations, recruit and develop the care team, and work to promote independence and quality of life for residents.

Qualifications

• Experience in managing a care home for adults with learning disabilities or complex needs.
• Strong leadership, communication and team development skills.
• Commitment to safeguarding, quality of care and person-centered planning.

Responsibilities

• Take responsibility for the day-to-day running of the service.
• Ensure safe, personalised and empowering support for residents.
• Lead, motivate and develop the care team to high standards.
• Maintain compliance with safeguarding and quality requirements.
• Oversee care plans and risk assessments to reflect residents' needs.
• Build positive relationships with families, professionals and external agencies.
