Jupiter Recruitment in Wakefield, West Yorkshire, is seeking an experienced Registered Home Manager to lead a specialist care home for adults with learning disabilities and complex needs.

You will oversee daily operations, lead a dedicated team, implement person-centred care plans and ensure a safe, dignified environment while promoting wellbeing and independence for residents.

Qualifications

• NVQ/QCF Level 5 in Health & Social Care, or working towards it.
• Experience as a manager specialising in complex behaviours and learning disabilities.
• Experience with complex dementia is beneficial.
• Energetic, enthusiastic and able to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

An amazing new job opportunity has arisen for an experienced Registered Home Manager to manage a specialist service based in the Carr Gate, West Yorkshire area. You will be working for one of UK's leading healthcare providers

This is a fantastic care home which offers residential support for males and females with a variety of needs, including individuals with a learning disability, autistic people, and those with complex needs

As the Home Manager your key responsibilities include:

• Oversee the day-to-day running of the home, ensuring high standards of care and compliance
• Lead, support, and develop your team to deliver person-centred care
• Support the assessment and implementation of individual care plans
• Ensure a safe, positive, and nurturing environment for residents
• Promote dignity, wellbeing, and independence in all aspects of care
• Work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders to achieve the best outcomes

The following skills and experience would be preferred and beneficial for the role:

• Must have previous experience as a manager specialising in complex behaviours and learning disabilities
• Open to older people experience if there is evidence experience with complex dementia
• Enthusiastic, energetic and comfortable working in a fast pace environment
• Able to show a can-do attitude at all times

To be considered for this position you must hold an NVQ/QCF Level 5 in Health & Social Care or be working towards it

The successful Home Manager will receive an excellent salary of £45,000 - £55,000 per annum. This exciting position is a permanent full time role working 40 hours a week on days with some occasional on calls.
