Job summary

Willing Care Recruitment Limited seeks an experienced Care Home Manager for a small specialist home for adults with learning disabilities and complex needs. You will lead from day one, shaping culture and ensuring high standards of care, safeguarding, and compliance across the service.

You will oversee daily operations, recruit and develop the care team, and work to promote independence and quality of life for residents.

Care Home Manager – Learning Disabilities & Complex Needs

Up to £45,000 per year

This small, specialist care home supports adults with learning disabilities and complex needs, providing individualised care focused on independence, choice and quality of life. We’re looking for an experienced Care Home Manager who already understands the complexities of supporting this client group and can provide confident, consistent leadership from day one.

You’ll take overall responsibility for the service, ensuring high standards across care quality, safeguarding, compliance and team performance, while creating an environment where the people supported are genuinely at the centre of decisions about their lives.

Leading the Home

• Take responsibility for the successful day-to-day running of the service
• Ensure individuals receive safe, personalised and empowering support
• Lead, motivate and develop the care team
• Maintain strong standards across safeguarding, compliance and quality
• Ensure care plans and risk assessments accurately reflect each individual's needs
• Promote choice, independence and meaningful involvement in everyday life
• Monitor quality through audits, observations and feedback
• Oversee staffing, recruitment, supervision and team development
• Build positive relationships with families, professionals and external agencies
• Maintain a safe and positive environment for both residents and colleagues
• Lead continuous improvement across the service
