Job summary

Jupiter Recruitment is recruiting for a Home Manager in the Hadleigh, Ipswich area to lead a care home offering general and dementia care. You will drive high-quality, person-centred care while ensuring regulatory compliance and financial targets are met.

The role is based on-site, 40 hours per week, with a competitive £55,000 annual salary and a comprehensive benefits package. NMC registration is preferred but not essential, with relocation support available.

• Experience managing a nursing/residential home.
• Strong working knowledge of CQC standards with a track record of achieving good/outstanding ratings.
• Excellent communication skills with residents, families and professionals.
• Marketing and business skills within the private care sector, with a commercially successful care home.

• Active involvement in growth and development of the care service.

An amazing new job opportunity has arisen for an experienced Home Manager to manage an exceptional care home based in the Hadleigh, Ipswich area. You will be working for one of UK's leading health care providers

This is a special nursing home specialising in general & dementia nursing, residential and respite care for the elderly. The home is currently rated as ‘Good' by CQC

As the Home Manager your key responsibilities include:

• Provide leadership and direction to the home's staff team, promoting a culture of kindness, compassion, and empathy
• Ensure the home meets all regulatory requirements, including those set by the CQC, and maintain excellent standards of care and support
• Manage the home's budget, ensuring financial targets are met and costs are effectively managed
• Develop and implement a strategic marketing plan to maintain full occupancy and promote the home's services to potential residents, families, and stakeholders
• Build and maintain positive relationships with residents, families, and all stakeholders, responding effectively to their needs and concerns

The following skills and experience would be preferred and beneficial for the role:

• Previous experience managing a nursing/residential home
• A strong working knowledge of CQC standards with a proven record of working towards achieving outstanding ratings
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to maintain effective working relationships with internal and external professionals, families, and visitors
• A proven track record of marketing and business skills within the private care sector, running a commercially successful care home
• Enthusiasm and passion for developing high levels of person-centred care
• Ability to actively participate in the growth and development of the care service

To be considered for this position you must be preferably NMC registered nurse with relevant post-registration experience (desirable but not essential)

The successful Home Manager will receive an excellent salary of £55,000 per annum. This exciting position is a permanent full time role for 40 hours a week from 9am-5pm. In return for your hard work and commitment you will receive the following generous benefits:
