Job summary

CS UK Recruitment Ltd is partnering to recruit an experienced Home Manager for a care home in the Hadleigh, Ipswich area. The role focuses on leading the care team, upholding CQC standards, and driving occupancy through targeted marketing and outstanding resident care.

The ideal candidate will have prior nursing/residential home management experience, strong communication skills and a track record of achieving strong regulatory ratings.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the home meets regulatory requirements including CQC, maintaining high standards of care and support.
• Manage the home’s budget, ensuring financial targets are met and costs are controlled.
• Develop and implement a strategic marketing plan to maintain full occupancy and promote services to residents, families, and stakeholders.
• Build and maintain positive relationships with residents, families and all stakeholders, responding to needs and concerns.

Job description

An amazing new job opportunity has arisen for an experienced Home Manager to manage an exceptional care home based in the Hadleigh, Ipswich area. You will be working for one of UK’s leading health care providers

This is a special nursing home specialising in general & dementia nursing, residential and respite care for the elderly. The home is currently rated as ‘Good' by CQC

As the Home Manager your key responsibilities include:

• Provide leadership and direction to the home’s staff team, promoting a culture of kindness, compassion, and empathy
• Ensure the home meets all regulatory requirements, including those set by the CQC, and maintain excellent standards of care and support
• Manage the home’s budget, ensuring financial targets are met and costs are effectively managed
• Develop and implement a strategic marketing plan to maintain full occupancy and promote the home’s services to potential residents, families, and stakeholders
• Build and maintain positive relationships with residents, families, and all stakeholders, responding effectively to their needs and concerns

The following skills and experience would be preferred and beneficial for the role:

• Previous experience managing a nursing/residential home
• A strong working knowledge of CQC standards with a proven record of working towards achieving outstanding ratings
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to maintain effective working relationships with internal and external professionals, families, and visitors
• A proven track record of marketing and business skills within the private care sector, running a commercially successful care home
• Enthusiasm and passion for developing high levels of person-centred care
• Ability to actively participate in the growth and development of the care service

To be considered for this position you must be preferably NMC registered nurse with relevant post-registration experience (desirable but not essential)

The successful Home Manager will receive an excellent salary of £53,000 - £55,000 per annum - Pay frequency is monthly. This exciting position is a permanent full time role for 40 hours a week from 9am-5pm.
