Job summary

HC-One Ltd. in Glasgow is seeking a Maintenance Operative to join our facilities team. You’ll bring solid experience in maintenance, building, DIY, cleaning and housekeeping to ensure residents live in a proactively inspected and well-maintained environment.

You’ll replace taps and valves, fit extractor fans, repair timber/window frames and wallpaper while keeping records. Safeguarding training is provided, and a broad benefits package supports wellbeing and development.

Qualifications

• Experience in maintenance, building, DIY, cleaning and housekeeping.
• Knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems.
• Some IT skills preferred.
• Safeguarding training required and provided.
• Full training provided and benefits package.

Responsibilities

• Carry out audits and keep records up to date.
• Perform maintenance tasks (plumbing, carpentry, ventilation and wallpaper) with care.
• Ensure the property is proactively inspected and well maintained.
• Communicate with residents and co-workers in a kind and considerate manner.
