Bupa's Aston Court Care Home in Little Aston is seeking a Maintenance Operative to keep the facility fully functional and compliant with health and safety standards. You will maintain building systems, manage maintenance tasks, and support refurbishment initiatives while delivering high-quality service to residents and staff.
The role requires hands-on experience in property maintenance, a good grasp of building services, and a flexible approach to support nearby sites when needed.
Formación
- Strong understanding of building services incl. heating, water distribution, ventilation, electrical, and plumbing.
- Experience with planned maintenance systems and record keeping.
- Knowledge of statutory requirements and compliance.
- Full driving licence and ability to travel within reasonable distance.
Responsabilidades
- Carry out health and safety checks using digital systems.
- Close tasks assigned by Maintenance Manager or home as needed.
- Manage quotes and repairs with approved contractors.
- Oversee refurbishments and CAPEX with minimal resident disruption.
- Ensure tools and equipment are safely stored.
