Job summary

Zohorecruit is seeking a Sales & Business Development Manager to grow occupancy and referrals across London and surrounding areas. This field-based role requires building strong relationships with care homes, local authorities, discharge teams and NHS professionals to drive enquiries and admissions.

You will develop strategies, identify new referral pathways, and travel regularly to engage with managers, commissioners and families. A commercial mindset and field presence are essential.

Qualifications

• Proven sales, business development or occupancy experience in care homes.
• Understanding of admissions and referral processes in the sector.
• Strong communication, networking and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement sales and business development strategies for care home portfolio.
• Drive occupancy, enquiries, referrals and admissions across London and surround areas.
• Build relationships with local authorities, social workers, NHS professionals and other partners.
• Identify new referral pathways and private-pay opportunities.
• Visit care homes regularly to assess vacancies and commercial priorities.
• Support Home Managers with local marketing and enquiry conversion.
• Monitor competitors, fees and market opportunities; track performance metrics.
• Attend events and meetings to promote services; travel across the region.
