Corus Consultancy Limited is seeking a dedicated Cook to plan, prepare, and serve nutritious meals for residents in a care home. You will manage food orders, uphold hygiene standards, and ensure dietary requirements are met, collaborating with management to enhance dining experiences for residents.

The role requires at least 1 year in a cook/kitchen setting, with desirable care home or healthcare experience and a Food Hygiene Certificate.

Qualificações

• Minimum 1 year experience in a cook, catering or kitchen role.
• Experience in care home, healthcare, supported living or hospitality environment desirable.
• Strong knowledge of food hygiene, health and safety regulations.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently.
• Excellent communication with residents and colleagues.

Responsabilidades

• Prepare and serve breakfast, lunch and evening meals for residents.
• Plan menus and ensure meals meet dietary and nutritional needs.
• Order food supplies and maintain stock levels.
• Prepare meals in advance where required.
• Ensure food is prepared, stored and served to hygiene standards.
