Job summary

BCG Cares in the United Kingdom is seeking a Chef to lead the kitchen team, design menus, and manage stock and budget to deliver nutritious meals for residents. You will ensure high-quality service and maintain cleanliness in the kitchen to meet EHO standards.

Experience in a commercial kitchen is required, ideally in a care home, with reliability to handle catering for special dietary needs within budget. PVG checks and UK work authorization apply.

Qualifications

• Experience in a commercial kitchen environment is required, ideally within a care home setting.
• Must be reliable and fully competent in all aspects of kitchen duties, including catering for special dietary needs, within the budget.
• SVQ/NVQ Level 2 in Catering & Hospitality and a Level 3 Food Hygiene Certificate, plus understanding of HACCP.

Responsibilities

• Lead the kitchen team to serve delicious, well-balanced and nutritious meals.
• Design menus and manage food stock and budget.
• Ensure the Kitchen is kept clean and hygienic in line with EHO regulations.
• Support residents with high-quality food service and responsive care.
