Job summary

CS UK Recruitment Ltd invites a committed Chef to join a brand new, state-of-the-art care home in Holt, Norfolk. You will plan menus with residents and managers and lead the kitchen to prepare and serve meals to meet diverse dietary needs.

Applicants must hold an NVQ Level 2-3 in Food preparation and catering, with proven experience in healthcare or hospitality. This is a permanent, full-time role paid monthly, with enhanced rates for holidays and career development opportunities.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 2–3 in Food preparation and catering is required.
• Healthcare or hospitality experience preferred.
• Knowledge of nutrition and dietary requirements.

Responsibilities

• Plan menus in consultation with residents and Manager.
• Prepare, cook and serve meals in line with approved menus.
• Display menus showing choices.
• Cater to special diets and cultural needs.
• Check stock quantity and quality; place orders per manual.
• Supervise kitchen staff.
• Follow HACCP processes and catering manual.
• Help manage food expenditure within budget with Bursar/Home Manager.
