Job summary

PSR Solutions are recruiting a Chef for a care home in Holt, Norfolk. You will plan and prepare nutritious meals, manage stock and budgets, and uphold high hygiene standards to support residents' health and wellbeing. The role is days, on-site, with a supportive team and opportunities for training.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Chef (care or hospitality setting preferred).
• NVQ Level 2/3 in Food Preparation/Catering.
• Food Hygiene Level 2 (willing to work towards Level 3).
• Strong knowledge of nutrition, food safety, and kitchen operations.
• Great communication and time management skills.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Plan and prepare daily menus tailored to residents' dietary needs.
• Manage food stock, orders, and kitchen budgets.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and compliant kitchen environment.
• Lead and support kitchen staff.
• Engage with residents and respond to feedback.
