Job summary

Walsall Healthcare NHS Trust is seeking a governance-focused post to work with the Care Group Leadership Team to ensure quality and safety targets are monitored and risks identified. The role supports integrated governance across the Care Group and embeds risk principles in daily practice.

You will lead on reviewing clinical incidents, updating files, closing cases, and monitoring formal complaints with timely investigations and evidence-based action plans, in coordination with clinical leads.

Responsibilities

• Support Care Group Leadership Team to monitor Quality and Safety targets and identify risks.
• Assist in governance and risk embedding across the Care Group.
• Review and monitor clinical incidents and update files with attachments, closing where appropriate.
• Monitor formal complaints and ensure investigations are timely with evidence-based actions.
• Support Initial Case Reviews and investigations with clinical leads.
