Job summary

Walsall Healthcare NHS Trust in Walsall is recruiting a Band 5 Care Group Governance Facilitator for Acute Care. The role supports the Care Group Leadership Team to monitor quality and safety targets, embed governance principles, and drive risk management across services.

You will review clinical incidents, support formal complaints investigations, produce governance reports, and help disseminate best practice.

Qualifications

• Experience in NHS setting and governance roles.
• Experience in complaints management and reporting.
• Strong written and verbal communication, with good presentation skills.
• Proficient IT skills and ability to use multiple software packages.
• Ability to engage with stakeholders across complex organisations.

Responsibilities

• Support the Care Group Leadership Team in governance, quality and safety monitoring.
• Review clinical incidents and assist in investigations with attachments and actions.
• Monitor formal complaints and ensure timely investigations and action plans.
• Produce governance reports and expose trends for improvement.
• Facilitate dissemination of good practice and alignment with national guidance.
