Job summary

Leaders in Care in Bournemouth is seeking an experienced Care Coordinator for an office-based role. You will organise care delivery in the community, manage rotas and support staff, clients and families to ensure safe, person-centred care.

The role requires rota management experience, strong organisational and communication skills, and the ability to adapt to changing care needs within a busy team.

Qualifications

• Experience in care coordination or scheduling within community care settings.
• Experience with complex care, domiciliary care, or homecare is desirable.
• Strong rota management and organisational skills.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate care rotas and maintain accurate schedules.
• Allocate care workers across community-based packages.
• Respond to sickness and changes in care requirements.
• Build relationships with staff, clients and families to ensure safe, reliable care.
• Maintain records and update internal systems.
• Work with branch, recruitment and operations teams.
• Support assessments, reviews and changes to care packages.
• Assist in resolving day-to-day operational issues.
• Uphold high standards of safeguarding and compliance.
• Participate in on-call rota.
