Job summary

Helping Hands Home Care in Salisbury is seeking a Supervisory-focused caregiver leader to support the Branch Care Manager and deliver exceptional local care. You’ll allocate carers, ensure high-quality support, and help grow the branch in the community.

The role requires a Level 3 Diploma in Adult Care, supervisory experience, and a good grasp of CQC/CIW standards. A UK driving licence and a people-first approach are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience in the care sector, supervisory role preferred.
• Understanding of CQC/CIW regulatory standards.
• Full UK driving licence and access to own vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Support your Branch Care Manager to deliver exceptional care across your local area.
• Allocate carers effectively so customers receive consistent, high-quality support.
• Complete supervisions and observations on time, helping carers grow and maintain great practice.
• Help recruit and onboard new carers, strengthening the branch’s capacity and community impact.
• Review and update care plans so they reflect each customer’s needs, preferences and wellbeing.
• Look for opportunities to grow the branch, supporting local engagement and commercial activity.
• Champion brilliant customer service, ensuring every interaction feels considered and kind.
• Support on-call duties in line with the branch rota.
