Job summary

Helping Hands is seeking a Care Coordinator in Hungerford to keep extraordinary care running smoothly. You will work with the Branch Care Manager to support carers, customers and the wider community, ensuring visits are well-planned and every customer receives care they can rely on.

You will oversee carers, recruit and onboard staff, review care plans, and help grow the branch. A Level 3 Diploma in Adult Care and a UK driving licence are preferred.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Adult Care (Level 3) or working towards it.
• Supervisory experience in care settings is preferred.
• Good understanding of CQC/CIW regulatory standards.

Responsibilities

• Support Branch Care Manager to deliver exceptional care across the local area.
• Allocate carers to ensure high-quality, consistent support.
• Complete supervisions and observations on time to support carers' growth.
• Assist with recruitment and onboarding of carers to strengthen branch capacity.
• Review and update care plans reflecting customer needs and wellbeing.
• Identify opportunities to grow the branch and engage with the community.
• Champion excellent customer service in every interaction.
• Support on-call duties as per branch rota.
