Job summary

Helping Hands in Chigwell is seeking a Care Coordinator to support carers, customers and the wider community. Working with the Branch Care Manager, you will ensure visits are well-planned, teams are supported, and care is reliably delivered.

The role blends leadership with hands-on coordination, requiring a Level 3 Diploma in Adult Care (or willingness to work towards it), care-sector experience, and strong communication skills. A full UK driving licence is essential.

Qualifications

• A Level 3 Diploma in Adult Care (or willingness to work towards it).
• Experience in the care sector, ideally supervisory.
• Good understanding of CQC/CIW regulatory standards and best practice.

Responsibilities

• Support Branch Care Manager to deliver exceptional care across local area.
• Allocate carers effectively to ensure consistent, high-quality support.
• Complete supervisions and observations on time to help carers grow and maintain practice.
• Support recruitment and onboarding of new carers to strengthen branch capacity.
• Review and update care plans reflecting customer needs and wellbeing.
• Look for opportunities to grow the branch and engage with the community.
