Job summary

Watra Care is recruiting a Care Coordinator for Birmingham on a full-time or part-time basis. The role is mainly office-based, coordinating care packages and rotas while serving as the first contact for customers and carers.

We offer a competitive salary up to £29,000 per year plus on-call and care remuneration, 28 days of annual leave, company-sponsored training, a smartphone, and a bonus scheme. IT literacy and a driving licence are required.

Qualifications

• Experience in caring for clients in domiciliary/home care
• Proactive, flexible and committed to quality service
• Excellent communication, administration and organisational skills
• Must have a valid driving licence and own vehicle
• IT-literate with ability to learn new software quickly
• Health and Social Care qualification preferred but not essential

Responsibilities

• Be the first point of contact for customers and care assistants
• Coordinate care packages, plans, risk assessments, reviews and incidents
• Create and maintain rotas using Rota software
• Handle new customer enquiries
