Job summary

Helping Hands Homecare in Middlesbrough is seeking a Care Coordinator to join our East 7 department. You’ll work closely with the Branch Care Manager to plan visits, allocate carers and support customers and carers to maintain exceptional care.

Qualifications

• A Level 3 Diploma in Adult Care (or willingness to work towards it).
• Experience in the care sector, ideally in a supervisory role.
• Good understanding of CQC/CIW regulatory standards and best practice.
• Full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Support Branch Care Manager to deliver exceptional care across local area.
• Allocate carers effectively to ensure consistent, high-quality support.
• Complete supervisions and observations on time for carers’ development.
• Help recruit and onboard new carers, strengthening capacity and impact.
• Review and update care plans reflecting customer needs and wellbeing.
• Look for opportunities to grow the branch and engage with local community.

As a Care Coordinator, you’ll be at the heart of keeping extraordinary care running smoothly. Working closely with your Branch Care Manager, you’ll support carers, customers and the wider community, making sure every visit is well-planned, every team member feels supported, and every customer receives care they can truly rely on.

• Look for opportunities to grow the branch, supporting local engagement and commercial activity.
• Champion brilliant customer service, ensuring every interaction feels considered and kind.
