Helping Hands Home Care in Basildon is seeking a Care Coordinator to ensure high-quality, compassionate care across the local area. You will support the Branch Care Manager, allocate carers, and oversee visits to keep clients safe and comfortable.

Key duties include supervising staff, recruiting new carers, updating care plans, and contributing to branch growth through community engagement. A Level 3 Diploma in Adult Care and a driving licence are required.

Formación

• A Level 3 Diploma in Adult Care or willingness to work towards it.
• Experience in the care sector, ideally in a supervisory role.
• Good understanding of CQC/CIW regulatory standards and best practice.
• Full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle.

• Complete supervisions and observations on time, helping carers grow and maintain great practice.
• Help recruit and onboard new carers, strengthening the branch’s capacity and community impact.
• Review and update care plans so they reflect each customer’s needs, preferences and wellbeing.
• Look for opportunities to grow the branch, supporting local engagement and commercial activity.
• Champion brilliant customer service, ensuring every interaction feels considered and kind.
• Support on-call duties in line with the branch rota.

As a Care Coordinator, you’ll be at the heart of keeping extraordinary care running smoothly. Working closely with your Branch Care Manager, you’ll support carers, customers and the wider community, making sure every visit is well-planned, every team member feels supported, and every customer receives care they can truly rely on.
