Job summary

Helping Hands Homecare, Inc. is seeking a Care Coordinator in Dulwich to join a supportive, growth-focused team. You’ll work closely with the Branch Care Manager to plan visits, support carers, and ensure consistent, compassionate care for customers.

You’ll manage care plans, supervise carers, and assist with recruitment while maintaining high service standards and strong community engagement. A driving licence is required to cover local visits.

Qualifications

• Experience in care coordination or supervisory roles within the care sector.
• Strong knowledge of CQC/CIW standards and best practice.
• Excellent communication and decision-making abilities.

Responsibilities

• Support the Branch Care Manager to deliver high-quality care in the local area.
• Allocate carers effectively to ensure consistent, top-quality support.
• Complete supervisions and observations on time to grow carer capability.
• Assist with recruitment and onboarding of new carers.
• Review and update care plans to reflect customer needs and wellbeing.
• Identify opportunities to grow the branch and community engagement.
• Deliver excellent customer service in every interaction.
• Assist with on-call duties in line with the rota.

As a Care Coordinator, you’ll be at the heart of keeping extraordinary care running smoothly. Working closely with your Branch Care Manager, you’ll support carers, customers and the wider community, making sure every visit is well-planned, every team member feels supported, and every customer receives care they can truly rely on.

What you’ll do

• Support your Branch Care Manager to deliver exceptional care across your local area.
• Allocate carers effectively so customers receive consistent, high-quality support.
• Complete supervisions and observations on time, helping carers grow and maintain great practice.
• Help recruit and onboard new carers, strengthening the branch’s capacity and community impact.
• Review and update care plans so they reflect each customer’s needs, preferences and wellbeing.
• Look for opportunities to grow the branch, supporting local engagement and commercial activity.
• Champion brilliant customer service, ensuring every interaction feels considered and kind.
• Support on-call duties in line with the branch rota.

What you’ll bring

• A Level 3 Diploma in Adult Care (or willingness to work towards it).
• Experience in the care sector, ideally in a supervisory role.
• A good understanding of CQC/CIW regulatory standards and best practice.
• A full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle.
• Strong communication skills, confidence in decision-making and a supportive, people-first approach.
