Job summary

Cera Care Gloucestershire is seeking a dedicated Care Coordinator to join our domiciliary care team. You will schedule visits, support carers and maintain clear communication with clients and families to ensure high-quality care.

The role emphasizes organisation, PP handling, and adherence to CQC standards. A driving role is required, with access to training and development opportunities.

Qualifications

  • Experience in domiciliary care coordination preferred.
  • Strong organisational and time management skills.
  • Excellent communication and people skills.
  • Driver with a vehicle is required.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and schedule care visits using care management systems.
  • Match carers to service users based on skills and preferences.
  • Handle rota planning, including sickness and emergency cover.
  • Communicate with clients, families and care staff professionally.
  • Ensure care plans are accurate and up to date.
  • Support onboarding and training of care staff.
  • Monitor compliance with CQC standards and company policies.
  • Handle enquiries and concerns in a timely, empathetic manner.
  • Maintain accurate records and reports.
  • Take part in On Call duties.

Position: Care Coordinator

Location: Gloucestershire Branch (GL5 2AZ)

Contract Type: Part Time/Permanent

Salary: £21,580

Role Overview

We are seeking an organised, compassionate and proactive Care Coordinator to join our domiciliary care team. You will play a vital role in ensuring high-quality care is delivered to our service users by effectively scheduling care visits, supporting care staff, and maintaining strong communication with clients and families.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate and schedule care visits using care management systems
  • Match carers to service users based on skills and preferences
  • Handle rota planning, including sickness and emergency cover
  • Communicate with clients, families and care staff professionally

About You
  • Previous experience in domiciliary care coordination (preferred)
  • Strong organisational and time management skills
  • Excellent communication and people skills
  • Confident using scheduling and care management software
  • Calm under pressure and able to manage competing priorities
  • Knowledge of CQC regulations and care standards
  • A compassionate and professional approach
  • Must be a driver with a vehicle
