Job summary

Helping Hands Home Care in Arnold (East 9) is seeking a Care Coordinator to join our team. You will work with the Branch Care Manager to ensure visits are well-planned, carers are supported, and customers receive dependable, compassionate care across your local area.

The role requires a Level 3 Diploma in Adult Care (or willingness to work toward it), supervisory care experience, and a solid understanding of CQC/CIW standards.

Qualifications

• A Level 3 Diploma in Adult Care (or willingness to work towards it).
• Experience in the care sector, ideally in a supervisory role.
• Understanding of CQC/CIW standards and best practice.
• Full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle.
• Strong communication, confidence in decision-making and a people-first approach.

Responsibilities

• Support your Branch Care Manager to deliver exceptional care across your local area.
• Allocate carers effectively so customers receive consistent, high-quality support.
• Complete supervisions and observations on time, helping carers grow and maintain great practice.
• Help recruit and onboard new carers, strengthening the branch’s capacity and community impact.
• Review and update care plans so they reflect each customer’s needs, preferences and wellbeing.
• Look for opportunities to grow the branch, supporting local engagement and commercial activity.
• Champion brilliant customer service, ensuring every interaction feels considered and kind.
• Support on-call duties in line with the branch rota.

As a Care Coordinator, you’ll be at the heart of keeping extraordinary care running smoothly.
