Job summary

Helping Hands Home Care in Poole is seeking a Care Coordinator to keep extraordinary care running smoothly. You will work with the Branch Care Manager to support carers, customers, and the community, ensuring visits are well-planned and everyone feels supported.

The role requires a Level 3 Diploma in Adult Care, care-sector experience (ideally supervisory), and a full UK driving licence. Join a welcoming team with clear progression and meaningful impact.

Responsibilities

• Support Branch Care Manager to deliver high-quality care locally.
• Allocate carers to ensure consistent, high-quality visits.
• Complete supervisions and observations on time.
• Assist recruitment and onboarding of new carers.
• Review and update care plans to reflect needs and preferences.
• Help grow the branch via local engagement and activity.
• Deliver excellent customer service with kindness and care.

As a Care Coordinator, you'll be at the heart of keeping extraordinary care running smoothly. Working closely with your Branch Care Manager, you'll support carers, customers and the wider community, making sure every visit is well-planned, every team member feels supported, and every customer receives care they can truly rely on.

What you'll do

• Support your Branch Care Manager to deliver exceptional care across your local area.
• Allocate carers effectively so customers receive consistent, high-quality support.
• Complete supervisions and observations on time, helping carers grow and maintain great practice.
• Help recruit and onboard new carers, strengthening the branch's capacity and community impact.
• Review and update care plans so they reflect each customer's needs, preferences and wellbeing.
• Look for opportunities to grow the branch, supporting local engagement and commercial activity.
• Champion brilliant customer service, ensuring every interaction feels considered and kind.

What you'll bring

• A Level 3 Diploma in Adult Care (or willingness to work towards it).
• Experience in the care sector, ideally in a supervisory role.
• A good understanding of CQC/CIW regulatory standards and best practice.
• A full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle.
• Strong communication skills, confidence in decision-making and a supportive, people-first approach.
