Job summary

Helping Hands Home Care in Cardiff is seeking a Branch Care Supervisor to support the Branch Care Manager in delivering exceptional care across the local area. You’ll allocate carers, supervise staff, and help recruit and onboard new carers to strengthen the branch’s capacity and community impact.

You’ll review care plans and ensure services reflect customers’ needs and wellbeing, while promoting excellent customer service and local engagement.

Qualifications

• Level 3 Diploma in Adult Care required or willingness to work towards.
• Experience in the care sector, ideally in a supervisory role.
• Understanding of CQC/CIW standards and best practice.

What you’ll do

• Look for opportunities to grow the branch, supporting local engagement and commercial activity.
• Champion brilliant customer service, ensuring every interaction feels considered and kind.

What you’ll bring

• A Level 3 Diploma in Adult Care (or willingness to work towards it).
• Experience in the care sector, ideally in a supervisory role.
• A good understanding of CQC/CIW regulatory standards and best practice.
• A full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle.
• Strong communication skills, confidence in decision-making and a supportive, people-first approach.
