Job summary

Helping Hands Homecare in Harlow is seeking a dedicated Care Coordinator to join our East 3 team. You’ll work closely with the Branch Care Manager to ensure visits are well-planned, carers are supported, and customers receive reliable, compassionate care.

This permanent, full-time role offers a salary of £29,400–£30,000 per year, along with a driver’s licence requirement and opportunities for growth within a nationwide, award-winning provider.

Qualifications

• A Level 3 Diploma in Adult Care is required or willingness to work towards it.
• Experience in the care sector, ideally in a supervisory role.
• Good understanding of CQC/CIW regulatory standards and best practice.
• Full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle.
• Strong communication skills and confident decision-making with a people-first approach.

Responsibilities

• Support Branch Care Manager to deliver exceptional care across the local area.
• Allocate carers to ensure consistent, high-quality support.
• Conduct supervisions and observations on time to develop carers.
• Assist in recruiting and onboarding new carers for branch capacity.
• Review and update care plans reflecting customer needs and wellbeing.
• Support branch growth and community engagement while maintaining quality service.
• Champion outstanding customer service in every interaction.

As a Care Coordinator, you’ll be at the heart of keeping extraordinary care running smoothly. Working closely with your Branch Care Manager, you’ll support carers, customers and the wider community, making sure every visit is well-planned, every team member feels supported, and every customer receives care they can truly rely on.

What you’ll do

• Support your Branch Care Manager to deliver exceptional care across your local area.

• Look for opportunities to grow the branch, supporting local engagement and commercial activity.
• Champion brilliant customer service, ensuring every interaction feels considered and kind.
