Job summary

Helping Hands in the United Kingdom is seeking a Care Coordinator to keep extraordinary care running smoothly. Working with the Branch Care Manager, you’ll support carers, customers and the wider community, ensuring visits are well-planned and every customer receives reliable care.

You’ll be coordinating carers, updating care plans to reflect needs, and helping recruit and onboard new carers. The role offers growth within a supportive, inclusive culture with real local impact.

Qualifications

  • Experience in the care sector, ideally in a supervisory role.
  • Strong understanding of regulatory standards (CQC/CIW) and best practice.
  • Full UK driving licence and access to own vehicle.

  • Allocate carers effectively for consistent, high-quality support.
  • Complete supervisions and observations on time to help carers grow.
  • Help recruit and onboard new carers, strengthening branch capacity.
  • Review and update care plans reflecting customers' needs and wellbeing.
  • Look for opportunities to grow the branch and engage the community.
  • Champion brilliant customer service in every interaction.
  • Support on-call duties in line with branch rota.

As a Care Coordinator, you’ll be at the heart of keeping extraordinary care running smoothly. Working closely with your Branch Care Manager, you’ll support carers, customers and the wider community, making sure every visit is well-planned, every team member feels supported, and every customer receives care they can truly rely on.

What you’ll do

  • Support your Branch Care Manager to deliver exceptional care across your local area.
  • Allocate carers effectively so customers receive consistent, high-quality support.
  • Complete supervisions and observations on time, helping carers grow and maintain great practice.
  • Help recruit and onboard new carers, strengthening the branch’s capacity and community impact.
  • Review and update care plans so they reflect each customer’s needs, preferences and wellbeing.
  • Look for opportunities to grow the branch, supporting local engagement and commercial activity.
  • Champion brilliant customer service, ensuring every interaction feels considered and kind.
  • Support on-call duties in line with the branch rota.

What you’ll bring

  • A Level 3 Diploma in Adult Care (or willingness to work towards it).
  • Experience in the care sector, ideally in a supervisory role.
  • A good understanding of CQC/CIW regulatory standards and best practice.
  • A full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle.
