Job summary

Helping Hands is seeking a dedicated Care Coordinator to support the Branch Care Manager in delivering high-quality care across the local area. You will allocate carers, oversee supervision, and assist in recruiting new carers to strengthen capacity.

Strong communication, supervisory experience, and a clear understanding of regulatory standards are essential, along with a full UK driving licence and a people-first approach. This role offers progression and inclusive culture.

Qualifications

• A Level 3 Diploma in Adult Care (or willingness to work towards it).
• Experience in the care sector, ideally in a supervisory role.
• Good understanding of CQC/CIW regulatory standards and best practice.
• Full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle.
• Strong communication skills, confidence in decision-making and a people-first approach.

Responsibilities

• Support the Branch Care Manager to deliver exceptional care across your local area.
• Allocate carers effectively so customers receive consistent, high-quality support.
• Complete supervisions and observations on time, helping carers grow and maintain great practice.
• Help recruit and onboard new carers, strengthening the branch’s capacity and community impact.
• Review and update care plans so they reflect each customer’s needs, preferences and wellbeing.
• Look for opportunities to grow the branch, supporting local engagement and commercial activity.
• Champion brilliant customer service, ensuring every interaction feels considered and kind.
• Support on-call duties in line with the branch rota.
