Job summary

Nurseplus UK Plymouth is seeking an organised Care Coordinator to join our Plymouth branch during a growth phase. You will coordinate care delivery, support care staff and ensure service users receive reliable, high-quality care within the local community.

You’ll work closely with the branch team to manage rotas, recruit and onboard new candidates, and maintain accurate records. This role emphasizes safeguarding, person-centred care and proactive problem solving.

Qualifications

• Experience in care coordination, scheduling or rostering.
• Strong organisational skills and ability to manage competing priorities.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
• Practical, solutions-focused approach, especially when plans change at short notice.
• Confidence using computer systems and maintaining accurate records.
• Understanding of domiciliary care and safeguarding and person-centred support.
• Positive, team-focused attitude and interest in growing a service.

Responsibilities

• Coordinating care delivery: manage rotas, match staff to service users, respond to changes, ensure care records are up to date.
• Supporting branch growth: help deliver new contracts, onboard new service users and staff, build relationships with service users and families.
• Maintaining quality and compliance: ensure care delivery follows care plans, monitor service quality, support audits and safeguarding.
• Supporting the team: provide day-to-day support, communicate changes clearly, work with the Registered Manager to ensure smooth operations.
