Job summary

TipTopJob in Diss, England, is seeking a motivated Care Co-ordinator to join an exceptional care home caring for residential, respite and dementia residents. This permanent full-time night-shift role offers an opportunity to lead the home in the absence of the manager.

Candidates must hold an NVQ/QCF Level 3 or 4 in Health and Social Care. You will supervise staff, manage medications, and ensure high-quality care while promoting dignity and independence.

Qualifications

• NVQ/QCF Level 3 or 4 in Health and Social Care.
• Experience supervising a care team preferred.
• Ability to show empathy and understanding of residents' needs.
• Good leadership and communication skills.
• Can-do attitude and flexibility for night shifts.

Responsibilities

• Work as part of a team to maintain the personal care of residents, respecting the dignity of the individual and promoting independence.
• Ensure that care services are consistently provided to a high quality standard.
• Assist in the care of the residents physical environment and in the general day-to-day activities of the home.
• You will assume responsibility for the running of the home and for the wellbeing of staff and residents in the absence of the homes Manager.
• Responsible for organising your shifts, administering and recording medication, liaising with health professionals and recording to the residents computerised care plans.
• Assist with the induction, training and supervision of support staff.
• Assist residents who have limited mobility or physical/learning difficulties, making the best use of mobility aids and personal equipment provided.

An exciting new job opportunity has arisen for a motivated Care Co:ordinator to work in an exceptional care home based in the Diss, Ipswich area. You will be working for one of UKs leading health care providers.

This special care home provides care and support to residential, respite and residential dementia individuals.

To be considered for this position you must have an NVQ/QCF Level 3 or 4 in Health and Social Care

As the Care Co:ordinator your key duties include:
