Job summary

Agincare Group is seeking a Home Care Assistant in Poole to help clients live with dignity at home. You will support daily routines, personal care, shopping, meal prep, and offer companionship, with a shift pattern from 10pm to 7am. Training is provided, and no prior care experience is required beyond a caring attitude.

Applicants should be compassionate, have strong people skills, and be able to build relationships. A full UK driving licence is preferred; visa sponsorship is not offered.

Qualifications

• No prior care experience required; attitude matters.
• Right to work in the UK with at least 12 months remaining.
• Driving licence preferred for this role.

Responsibilities

The Role of a Home Carer:

• Supporting people with their daily routines, including household tasks and personal care
• Helping with shopping, preparing nutritious meals, and making a comforting cup of tea
• Providing companionship, a listening ear, and friendly conversation
• Helping with medication
• Shift Patterns are 10pm-7am

About you:

Above all, we’re looking for someone kind, compassionate, and genuinely passionate about helping others. You don’t need previous care experience or qualifications; if you have the right attitude and a caring nature, we can teach you the rest.

You’ll bring:

• A warm, caring, and compassionate approach to supporting others
• Strong people skills and the ability to build meaningful relationships
• A supportive, professional, and team-focused mindset
• A minimum of 12 months remaining on your right to work in the UK (please note we are currently unable to offer sponsorship)
• A full UK driving licence (preferred)
