Job summary

Agincare Weymouth is looking for a Home Care Assistant to support clients in their own homes, helping with daily living tasks, personal care, shopping, meals, and companionship. The role emphasizes dignity and connection in the care you provide.

The position offers flexible contracts to fit around you, funded training, and opportunities to advance with qualifications up to QCF level 5, alongside pension and later payment options.

The Role of a Home Carer

• Supporting people with their daily routines, including household tasks and personal care
• Helping with shopping, preparing nutritious meals, and making a comforting cup of tea
• Providing companionship, a listening ear, and friendly conversation
• Helping with medication

About you

• A warm, caring, and compassionate approach to supporting others
• Strong people skills and the ability to build meaningful relationships
• A supportive, professional, and team-focused mindset
• A minimum of 12 months remaining on your right to work in the UK (please note we are currently unable to offer sponsorship)
• A full UK driving licence (Preferred)
• Flexibility to work alternating weekends
