Job summary

South Coast Nursing Homes is seeking a Care Assistant for 36 hours per week, alternating weekends. You will provide high quality personal care, assist with meals, and help residents enjoy social dining and activities.

We value compassionate, energetic team players and offer training and development within a family-owned care group. Tier 2 sponsorship is not available at this time.

• Providing high quality personal care, social interaction and stimulation to residents.
• Promoting independence and enablement and providing any support to the residents where necessary.
• Ensuring electronic residents' personalised interactions are inputted on the system.
• Serving food and drinks to the residents and promoting social dining experiences.
• Developing relationships with relatives to help support you in understanding their needs and developing their personal care.

Hours:

36 hrs per week, alternating weekly between Week 1 and Week 2.

Week 1: Sunday - 8pm-8am

Week 2: Saturday and Sunday - 8pm-8am

We are unable to provide Tier 2 sponsorship at this time.

As a Care Assistant you will be:

• Providing high quality personal care, social interaction and stimulation to residents;

• Serving food and drinks to the residents and promoting social dining experiences;

• Ideally, you'll have experience in the Healthcare sector, however we will provide you with all the training you need to be successful in the role;
