Job summary

South Coast Nursing Homes is seeking two Care Assistants to join Abundant Grace, our luxurious Dementia Nursing Home in Seaford. Roles are available on days, with full-time and part-time options and a 36-hour weekly schedule.

Responsibilities include delivering high-quality personal care, promoting independence, assisting with meals, and building supportive relationships with residents and families. Training is provided, and a pension and other benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• Experience in the healthcare sector is preferred but full training will be provided.
• Kind and caring with a positive approach.

We are looking for two Care Assistants (full-time and part-time) to join our team on Days at Abundant Grace, our luxurious Dementia Nursing Home, in Seaford.

Hours: Full-time position of 36hrs per week

As a Care Assistant You Will Be

• Providing high quality personal care, social interaction and stimulation to residents;
• Promoting independence and enablement and providing any support to the residents where necessary;
• Ensuring electronic residents’ personalised interactions are inputted on the system;
• Serving food and drinks to the residents and promoting social dining experiences;
• Developing relationships with relatives to help support you in understanding their needs and developing their personal care.

More About You

• Ideally, you’ll have experience in the Healthcare sector, however we will provide you with all the training you need to be successful in the role;
