Job summary

Uniquecare is seeking a Care Assistant to provide domiciliary support in clients' homes. You will deliver personal care, companionship and practical help to promote wellbeing and independence.

We offer full‑time or part‑time roles up to 30 hours per week, mileage paid at £0.35 per mile, a pension scheme and funded training with progression opportunities. Sleep‑in shifts and exclusive discounts are among the benefits.

Qualifications

• Full UK driving licence and access to a car.

Responsibilities

• Deliver personal care support (bathing, toileting, dressing).
• Administer medications safely according to guidance.
• Provide companionship and encourage wellbeing.
• Assist with meal preparation and dietary needs.
• Support mobility and transfers to chairs/wheelchairs.
• Help with light housekeeping and maintain a safe home.
• Keep accurate care records and daily observations.

Pay

£14.60 per hour / £15.00 weekend rate / £29.20 bank holiday rate
