Job summary

Unique Senior Care is hiring a Care Assistant to provide compassionate domiciliary support in clients' homes. The role includes personal care, medication assistance, and promoting wellbeing across a flexible mix of full‑time and part‑time shifts.

Successful applicants will have a driving licence, right to work in the UK, and a caring, reliable approach with strong communication skills. Training is offered to new carers. Mileage is paid, with pension benefits and career progression opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Support with mobility and transfers to chairs or wheelchairs.
• Help with light housekeeping and maintain a safe environment.
• Keep accurate care records and daily observations.

Job description

Care Assistant - Domiciliary

Pay: £14.60 per hour (Weekday), £15.00 per hour (Weekend), £29.20 per hour (Bank Holiday).

Hours: Full‑time and part‑time available; contracted hours up to 30 hours per week, with options for 10–30 hours depending on availability. Early morning shifts (7 am–9 am) and sleep‑in shifts are also available.

Mileage is paid at 35p per mile, with an HMRC reclaim option.
