Job summary

Unique Senior Care is seeking a dedicated Care Assistant to support clients in their own homes. The role covers personal care, companionship and daily living tasks, with contracted hours up to 30 per week.

Paid at £14.60 per hour, with Bank Holiday rate £29.20 per hour. Mileage is 35p per mile. We offer training and progression within a supportive team.

Qualifications

• Must have a full UK driving licence, access to a car and business insurance.
• Right to work in the UK is required.
• We are seeking caring, compassionate and reliable individuals.
• Strong communication skills and ability to build relationships are essential.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a supportive team.
• Willingness to work flexible shifts including evenings, weekends and holidays.
• Experience in care or home care is desirable but not essential; full training is provided.

Responsibilities

• Deliver personal care support such as bathing, toileting and dressing.
• Administer medications safely as directed.
• Provide companionship and support wellbeing.
• Assist with meal preparation and dietary needs.
• Support mobility with transfers to chairs or wheelchairs.
• Assist with light housekeeping and ensure a safe home environment.
• Keep accurate care records and daily observations.
