Job summary

Bright Dawn Home Care is seeking a domiciliary care assistant to support clients in their own homes in Peacehaven. You will assist with daily living activities, encourage independence, and provide compassionate care in a respectful, dignified manner.

Role involves evening shifts (5pm-11pm) and alternate weekends, with minimum 20 hours. Driving and access to a vehicle are preferred for transport to appointments and activities.

Qualifications

• Valid driving license preferred for home visits and transportation duties.
• Previous care home or home care experience is advantageous but not essential; full training provided.
• Ability to read and communicate effectively in English to understand care plans and interact with clients confidently.
• Basic IT skills for recording care activities electronically and updating client records.
• Strong communication skills, empathy and patience are essential for building trusting relationships with clients.

• Maintain clear communication with clients, their families, and healthcare professionals to ensure consistent care delivery.
• Follow health and safety guidelines rigorously while documenting care activities accurately in records or digital systems.
• Use your driving skills to safely transport clients to appointments or social activities when required.

Qualifications
