Job summary

Hesketh Park Lodge Care Home is seeking a Care Assistant to provide compassionate, person-centred care to residents in a 79-bed setting in Southport. You will support daily living tasks, follow care plans, and contribute to a warm, respectful environment.

This role welcomes experienced carers and those new to care, with training and development offered to support your journey. Bank contract with days & nights available.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 2 is desirable or willingness to work towards.
• Previous care experience is beneficial but not essential.
• Willingness to learn and develop in care.

Responsibilities

• Make a meaningful difference in residents’ lives daily.
• Deliver high quality, person centred care.
• Support daily living: personal care, mobility, nutrition and emotional wellbeing.
• Follow care plans and recognise changes to ensure safe, responsive care.
