Job summary

Lighthouse Lodge Care Home in New Brighton, Merseyside, part of Care Concern Group, is recruiting a Care Assistant on a full-time contract to support residents with daily living and wellbeing.

You will provide personal care, mobility support, nutrition and companionship, following care plans and delivering safe, respectful care. The role includes working alternate weekends and joining a friendly, supportive team.

Qualifications

• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Reliable and positive attitude.
• Willingness to learn and develop.
• NVQ Level 2 desirable or willingness to work towards.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with daily living: personal care, mobility, nutrition and emotional wellbeing.
• Follow care plans and recognise changes in condition to support safe, consistent care.
• Work as part of a supportive team to create a warm, respectful environment.
• Commit to alternate weekends as required.
