Job summary

Hesketh Park Lodge Care Home is seeking a Care Assistant to provide compassionate, person-centred care to residents in a 79-bed setting in Southport. You will support daily living tasks, follow care plans, and contribute to a warm, respectful environment.

This role welcomes experienced carers and those new to care, with training and development offered to support your journey. Bank contract with days & nights available.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 2 is desirable or willingness to work towards.
• Previous care experience is beneficial but not essential.
• Willingness to learn and develop in care.

Hesketh Park Lodge Care Home is a modern, purpose built 79 bed care home in Southport, Merseyside, delivering high quality residential, nursing, dementia and respite care within a supportive, person centred environment.

Care Assistant Contract

• £12.71 per hour
• Contracted to 0 hours per week
• Paid DBS pension, uniform provided
• 5.6 weeks annual leave (based on a full time contract)

Role Overview

As a Care Assistant, you will make a meaningful difference in our residents lives everyday. This role is central to delivering high quality, person centred care that supports dignity, independence and overall wellbeing.

You will support individuals with daily living including personal care, mobility, nutrition and emotional wellbeing, helping them feel comfortable, respected and valued. By following care plans and recognising changes in condition, you will contribute to safe, responsive and consistent care.

Working as part of a supportive team, you will help create a warm and positive environment where relationships matter and people feel truly cared for. This opportunity is open to both experienced carers and those new to care, with full training, guidance and ongoing development provided to support your journey.
